This was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had leading a tour group. Everything was excellent, from the clean, roomy, comfortable cabins to the excellent, tasty food, terrific Naturalist guides, and the entire crew of 10 who took great care of all of us.

The B2 itinerary took us to many of the best island locations, where we hiked to see all the various boobies, pelicans, frigate birds, giant tortoises, marine and land iguanas and much more. Our snorkeling experiences were safe, fun and adventuresome. We saw many species of colorful fish, turtles, white tipped reef sharks, spotted eagle rays and more. Our naturalist guides, Galo and Luis, were intelligent, experienced, thoughtful, caring and couldn’t have done a better job!

I highly recommend the Yacht Anahi for anyone who wants to have a Galapagos adventure of a lifetime with the best quality of vessel, service, meals, staff and crew. Thank you to all of the Anahi guides and crew for this terrific Galapagos Experience!

I did the 8 day/7 night B2 itinerary. It was amazing from start to finish. Outstanding... read more captain with 21 years on that boat, 11 of them as captain. The crew driving the zodiacs, cleaning the cabins, fixing the meals and generally making sure everything went well were all terrific. The naturalist guides are assigned by the national park were knowledgeable and friendly. The ship was very comfortable, well maintained, luxurious.

There were at least 2 excursions per day: one hike and one snorkel. Many days, there were 3-4 excursions. I was exhausted by the end of the week, but I really appreciated the crew getting us off the boat as much as possible so we could see as much as possible.

The benefit of a liveaboard cruise is that the boat can go further than a day cruise. The boat generally moved at night, so maximum time to snorkel or go on land during the day. The captain was very careful to plan boat movement for nighttime when we were in bed. The occasional short cruises during the day were generally between meals to minimize seasickness. I didn’t have any trouble at all with motion sickness.

A note about the food, which is served buffet style. It was delicious. Every meal had 8-10 dishes. I’m vegetarian and there was plenty to eat. Beans, multiple vegetable dishes at lunch and dinner, rice, plantains, potatoes, tortillas, bread, fruit, fresh juice. The chef could also make veggie patties with various toppings.
